Tiger 3 has done the unthinkable. In just 3 days, it is now amongst the Top-10 lifetime grossers when it comes to Hindi films that have released in 2023. Of course, the likes of Jawan, Pathaan and Gadar 2 have been huge while The Kerala Story too had gone on a rampage. However, the fact that it’s comparing with the likes of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, OMG 2 and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, the other notable grossers of the year so far reflects a lot on how big is Tiger 3 turning out to be.
When a film collects as much as other biggies in just 3 days and that too on an odd day release, it shows what’s the kind of value that’s been put on it. No wonder, the coming together of Salman Khan, spy universe franchise, third in the series of Tiger films, Yash Raj Films as the producers, Katrina Kaif being the female lead all over again and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist have ensured that the film is getting excellent footfalls on a daily basis. Also, not to forget director Maneesh Sharma, who may have got mixed response but then has delivered.

Prior to the release of Tiger 3, there were 10 films which had entered the Rs. 100 Crores Club, the last in the list being Dream Girl 2 [Rs. 104.90 crores]. It has been pushed out of the list due to the arrival of Tiger 3 on the scene, but its contribution to keep the flag high for Bollywood during all this time can certainly not be ignored.
