On Friday night at 10 pm, Tiger 3 has sold over 5.50 lakh tickets across the country laying itself the base to explode big with an overall advance for the opening day landing close to a million. The advance bookings indicate that this Maneesh Sharma directorial is headed for an earth-shattering opening at the box office despite the Laxmi Pooja Day.
On the collections front, Tiger 3 has already collected an All India Gross of Rs. 15 crores for the first day, and the film is headed to collect over Rs. 22 crore even before a single show rolls out. This is a historic result and a sheer outcome of Salman Khan’s mass fan following , which has overshadowed the Diwali Pooja impact.
When most of the Hindi Film Industry, outside of Shah Rukh Khan, is struggling to touch Rs. 20 crores on a normal Friday, here’s Salman Khan with Tiger 3, set to open over Rs. 35 crore on the weakest day of the year for the film business. On the National Chain front, Tiger 3 has sold over 185,000 tickets in PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for the opening day alone and will be looking to clock an overall advance of 3.50 lakhs by Saturday night, which will be a phenomenal result. Being a Salman Khan film, the best results on the advance front are coming from non-national chains and single screens, as the ratio of multiplexes even on the day of release will be 40 to 45 percent, as compared to the general norm of 50 to 60 percent.
