The Sabarmati Report continues to win hearts and accolades for its depiction of one of India’s most pivotal historical events. As it heads into its second weekend, the film has been garnering immense support from the government. Several states, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, have declared the film tax-free, further boosting its reach and impact. Joining the spree, Honorable Chief minister of Uttrakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami met Vikrant Massey at government house and expressed his delight.

Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd presents, A Vikir Films Production, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan, a worldwide wide release by Zee Studios. Apart from Vikrant, the film also features Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in lead roles along with an ensemble supporting cast.
Based on the Godhra train burning incident of 27 February 2002, involving Sabarmati Express train, the movie features Vikrant Massey as a cameraman-journalist who decides to get to the bottom of the truth behind the incident after he suspects it as a conspiracy. As his life turns upside down leaving him distraught and disheartened, he finds a new ray of hope when another journalist decides to pursue the investigation behind the incident. The film is now released in theatres.
