Based on the book – A Ticket to Syria by Shirish Thorat, the second part of the web show The Freelancer: The Conclusion released a couple of weeks ago. The show featured Mohit Raina in the titular character and received a lot of love from action buffs for its high octane stunt sequences and now giving glimpse into what transpired behind the scenes is the latest video from the show. The action thriller series is directed by Bhav Dhulia, which also stars Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi in the lead.
Speaking of the BTS video which was unveiled recently, it is being said that this will be adding an exciting dimension to the web series and showcases the dedication, the skill and other technical aspects involved in creating these adrenaline pumping sequences. Mohit Raina’s action too is being explored in this short video.
Ahead of the release of the second part of the series, Mohit Raina too had opened up about performing extensive action in this thriller wherein he had revealed about the series featuring Jason Bourne kind of action. He had said, “I have always been a fan of Jason Bourne movies and I’ve seen Bourne Ultimatum and Bourne Supremacy. I think because I had seen all those movies in my college days, subconsciously I remembered all the sequences and all the action choreographies that were involved in them and I had that in the back of my mind while shooting for The Freelancer.”
The Freelancer is produced by Shital Bhatia under the banner Friday Storytellers and it is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar Created by showrunner Neeraj Pandey, the series also features an ensemble cast like Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, Sarah Jane Dias amongst others.
