T-Series films starring Ayushman Khurrana, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui to re-release in theatres

Bollywood films, which have started to explore subjects beyond a boy falling for a girl kinda romance, have featured complexities of queer relationships in films such as Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, both starring Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead along with Jitendra Kumar in the former and Vaani Kapoor in the latter. In order to celebrate the Pride Month as the LGBTQA+ communities gear up to celebrate all kinds of love, theatres will be re-releasing these movies this week, on June 21.

From Friday onwards, fans can catch these movies in their nearest cinemas. While both these films are produced by T-Series, a statement issued by the production revealed that these films are returning to theatres, to entertain and serve as powerful reminders of the diversity and resilience within the LGBTQIA+ community. This initiative aims at honoring their identities and encourages broader acceptance and understanding, making Pride Month a meaningful celebration on the silver screen.
