On Saturday morning, reports were abuzz with news about popular television actress Surbhi Jyoti tying the knot with her actor-fiancé Sumit Suri. The actress, best known for her role as Zoya in Qubool Hai, has now confirmed the news to her social media fam about her impending wedding by dropping some of the most picturesque and beautiful pictures from a pre-wedding photoshoot and later, she was also seen celebrating the Mehendi festivities in the same outfit. Readers would be aware that her wedding is said to be held at the famous Jim Corbett Park in Uttarakhand.
In the first set of photos which was shared by the actress earlier on Saturday afternoon, we can see some surreal photos clicked amid the lap of nature in a green forest. Adding an ethereal look to it are the beautifully adorned props that include decorative urlis and urli stands filled with rose petals and diyas that add to the picturesque feel. The soon-to-be newlyweds are dressed in quintessential ethnic attire wherein Surbhi shined in a beautiful salwar suit and her ‘paranda’ and traditional jewellery and twinning with her, Sumit too donned the kurta – pant look that completed the whole Punjabi vibe. Sharing photos on her Instagram feed, Surbhi captioned it with some romantic poetic lines that read, “These roots run deep, carrying stories of sunshine and rain, resilience and grace. Sumit and I chose to begin our journey here, under nature’s sacred canopy, honoring the trees that stand tall and the five elements that keep us whole”.

Meanwhile, a few hours later, the actress also went on to share photos from her Mehendi ceremony. From flaunting her simple Mehendi design to her and Sumit dancing their heart out on the beats of Dhol, the photos showcase the kind of fun celebrations the couple had right before their D-day. Surbhi captioned these pictures saying, “Mehandi Shagna Di”. For the unversed, Surbhi and Sumit will be hosting a traditional wedding ceremony on Sunday, October 27.

Talking about their relationship, Surbhi and Sumit have been friends for a long time. The duo has also collaborated for a music video titled ‘Haanji – The Marriage Mantra’, where they incidentally played newlyweds.
