Suniel Shetty pens note for son Ahan Shetty after Sanki announcement: “I couldn’t be prouder”

Actor Ahan Shetty is gearing up for his next project alongside Pooja Hegde, which is titled Sanki, directed by Adnan Shaikh and Yasir Jah. The news was officially announced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment on Saturday.

Following the announcement, Ahan’s father, Suniel Shetty, took to social media to express his pride at his son’s achievement. Suniel shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, congratulating Ahan on landing the role in Sanki. He praised Ahan’s perseverance, stating, “Good things come to those who have patience and wait, but better things come to those who have patience and work for it.”

Suniel further added, “Your perseverance is admirable, and I couldn’t be prouder. Wishing you nothing but the best on this exciting journey!”

The film is penned by writer Rajat Aroraa and will hit the theatres on Valentine’s Day, 2025. This action-packed project marks Ahan Shetty’s second Bollywood venture after his debut in Milan Luthria’s Tadap (2021) alongside Tara Sutaria. Pooja Hegde, who will be sharing screen space with Ahan, was last seen in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023).

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that on the occasion of Ahan Shetty’s birthday this year, Bollywood Hungama had reported that Ahan will announce 3 more projects in 2024. A source told us, “Ahan has already bagged three more films, which will be announced throughout 2024.” However, the other details about the upcoming projects remain under wraps.
