Srikanth Trailer Launch: Srikanth Bolla gets emotional as he recalls how late Gulshan Kumar helped him in completing his education

Trailer of Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne has received a great response from industry insiders who can’t stop gushing about this heartfelt story of a visually impaired businessman. While the story has left many overwhelmed, even the man who has been an inspiration for this movie, Srikanth Bolla too had an emotional moment at the film’s trailer launch, as he remembered the late Gulshan Kumar.

During the recently held trailer launch, as Srikanth Bolla shared the stage with the onscreen Srikanth aka Rajkummar Rao, he shared an emotional anecdote from his life which is related to Gulshan Kumar. Incidentally, the upcoming biopic also bears a connection with musician-producer, since it is produced under his banner T-Series, which is now being handled by late Gulshan’s son Bhushan Kumar. Recalling his fond memory with the late Kumar, Srikanth said, “It is an emotional moment for me because I have to remember the late Shri. Gulshan Kumarji. His pet product which is T-Series audio cassettes helped me complete my education. I heard those cassettes a zillion times from my class 5 and class 10.”

Listening to this, Bhushan Kumar too got emotional and said, “What Srikanth just told me about Papa, has left me very touched.” Srikanth also later continued adding, “Those cassettes were the early books that helped me get 98 percent.”

Gulshan Kumar and T-Series presents a T-Series Films & Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP, Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. It also stars Alaya F and Jyothika in key roles. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar & Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, and is slated for a nationwide release on May 10, 2024 on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
