Sony Entertainment Television has announced a new mythological show, Srimad Ramayan, which is set to premiere in January 2024. The show is produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, and it promises to be a visual spectacle that will bring the timeless epic of Lord Rama to life.
The teaser for the show was released on the official Instagram page of Sony TV, and it gave viewers a glimpse of the grand sets and costumes that have been created for the show. The teaser also featured some of the key characters from the Ramayana, including Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman.
In the teaser, Sony TV described Srimad Ramayan as “Sanskrti ka gaurav, sanskaaron ka shikhar, bhakti ka mahaamantr” (the pride of culture, the peak of values, the great mantra of devotion). The channel said that the show will transport viewers to an ancient spiritual era that highlights wholesome values and life learnings, which are relevant even today.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary is a renowned producer of mythological shows, and he has a proven track record of creating successful shows in this genre. His previous shows, including Mahabharat, Suryaputra Karn, Karmaphal Daata Shani, Porus, and Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush, have all been popular with viewers.
