Following the release of a captivating poster for Tumbbad, the makers have shared a new poster featuring a red backdrop and the iconic treasure chest from the film. The tagline ‘Trailer Out Tomorrow’ indicates that the re-release trailer will be released tomorrow.
Adding to the excitement, the makers shared a teaser caption that reads, “Samay ka pahiya gol hai… jo beet gaya woh humesha phir laut ke aata hai…Hum bhi aa rahe hain… ek baar phir. Ek naye trailer aur kuch naye dhamako ke saath. It’s Time For #Tumbbad, Experience in cinemas again on 13th September, 2024!”

As Tumbbad returns to theaters, it offers a chance to rediscover the film’s themes of greed, mythology, and horror. The film will not be available on OTT platforms in 2024, making the theater re-release on September 13, 2024, the primary opportunity to watch it.
The re-release of Tumbbad provides an opportunity to experience the film’s blend of horror and fantasy set in a fictional, mythological village. The trailer will be released tomorrow, and the new poster enhances the anticipation.”
Tumbbad earned eight nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards, winning three for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, and Best Sound Design. It was also the first Indian film to premiere in the Critics’ Week section of the 75th Venice International Film Festival.
Tumbbad is directed by Rahi Anil Barve, with Anand Gandhi as the creative director and Adesh Prasad as the co-director. Written by Mitesh Shah, Prasad, Barve, and Gandhi, the film was produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah, and Amita Shah. The cast includes Sohum Shah, Jyoti Malshe, and Anita Date-Kelkar.
