Kunal Kemmu, who has now added the title of filmmaker with Madgaon Express, turned a year older on Saturday. His wife and co-star Soha Ali Khan took to social media to not only share a wish for her husband but she also shared a few glimpses of what the couple was up to on this special day.
It seems that the couple planned a small get-together with some of their close friends including Karan Johar, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, Shikha Talsania, among others. Going by the photos, it seems that the guests joined them at different times on the same day in order to wish the birthday boy. Soha shared these set of photos on her Instagram page and captioned it saying, “Moments like these … <3 #daywellspent”.

The actress, who often shares social media posts with her husband and daughter Inaaya, also shared another post wherein she not only added a birthday wish but also a video of some of the quirky moments of Kunal Kemmu. She also penned a lovely note on this special occasion saying, “There is truly no one like you and here is the proof ?? ?? #happybirthday to you my jaan – love you today and always” and concluded it with an infinity emoji.

On the work front, Kunal Kemmu explored with filmmaking and his recently released film Madgaon Express received rave reviews for its impeccable comic timing. The film, starring Avinash Tiwary, Divyendu Sharma, and Pratik Gandhi in lead roles, explored the journey of three friends who are finally able to go on a Goa trip after years of planning but end up in a twisted drug conspiracy endangering their lives.
