Sister Wives star Kody Brown didn’t wait long after Christine Brown legally took a husband before he dismantled that family cookie jar, often discussed in the TLC series. Some fans believe what Kody did in real-time this week proves he held on to hope until the last minute.
Kody Brown lost three wives over the last two years, starting with Christine Brown’s departure. Then Janelle Brown and Meri Brown followed suit after they made painstaking attempts to fix things.
Sister Wives fans watch their journey of severing marriages on Season 18. This pretty much covers how and why they are no longer spiritually married to Kody today.
All three of the original Sister Wives brides made their plight with Kody public. But Christine was probably the most forthcoming with details as she severed ties with their shared husband.
Kody likely knew that Christine planned on a wedding long before this week. Unless he buried his head in the sand for the last few months, well he had to know about this wedding.
So why did he wait until the day after his third wife cemented her future with another man before making his latest move?
Kody became adamant about Christine not leaving the family when she told him her plans to move to Utah. He seemed so desperate to keep her under his wing that he even offered something bizarre.
He suggested she move her boyfriend into the home she originally planned to build on Coyote Pass. Kody stipulated that she needed to marry any man she planned to move to Coyote Pass.
This was before David Woolley’s name surfaced as Christine’s new love. But he seemed to think she’d never find a husband.
He once said that anyone dating her would check out the Sister Wives show. Then, once the guy got a look at how she treated her husband. He believed it would be enough for her prospective love interest to end that relationship quickly.
So, it sounded as if he didn’t think he’d need to worry about Christine moving on with another marriage. But now, unlike her ex-co-wives, Janelle and Meri, Christine Brown is legally bonded to another man today. And some fans think this prompted him to make a move.
This week a new report says Kody Brown dissolved the family LLC, Kody Brown Family Entertainment LLC. This became known as the cookie jar for all the Sister Wives adults’ earnings.
When Kody, Christine, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn Brown were all still together, they pooled their funds. Then they pulled the money from the Sister Wives combined funds to pay for everything from new cars to the electric bills.
However, according to this new report, the articles of dissolution for Kody Brown Family Entertainment LLC were filed on Sunday, October 8, the day after Christine Brown married David Woolley.
It’s possible that Christine’s marriage prompted him to do this now that she’s the legal wife of David Woolley. Or it could be that with the family now pulled apart, he didn’t see a reason for this anymore.
But they had that LLC for quite some time, starting back in Utah when the TLC cameras followed the original three Sister Wives brides around in one big house. Back when Christine called herself the “basement wife.”
It seems the timing of his dissolution of the LLC raises eyebrows among fans today. After all, it was only one day after Christine Brown’s wedding. But whatever the reason, Kody Brown hasn’t shared it yet as he sits with Robyn Brown, his only wife left today.
