Sister Wives: Janelle Slams Robyn’s Tactics with Her Kids

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown opened up about Robyn Brown crowning herself the best wife to be there with Janelle’s kids during a task when the TLC cameras were not rolling. Janelle let loose, saying they did just fine before she arrived. This is just one of several incidents as Janelle and the other wives come clean about the fourth co-wife.

Several seasons back, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown, and Meri Brown gave Robyn Brown kudos for her communication skills. But from how it sounds today, this may have gone to her head. Two of the Sister Wives women now backpedaled on the gift Robyn brought into the family.

Even Kody Brown mentioned this gift a few times on the Sister Wives show. It seems Janelle left it alone until she caught something Robyn said to her kids. Then, Janelle realized the problem with the youngest wife appointing herself their husband’s translator, when it seeps into the daily life of her children.

Fans thought this claim from the fourth wife was ludicrous at the time, they jumped on social media when they first heard her coin the term for her special ability.

Robyn’s Ludicrous Claim Ruffled Fans

Sister Wives fans heard Robyn Brown crown herself as the wife who seemed to understand Kody Brown the most. They also heard the family members say that Robyn, “speaks Kody” a few times through the seasons. For a while there, the other wives seemed to agree she had a magical way of dealing with their shared husband.

But it looks like that’s not the case anymore. Janelle and Christine Brown spoke out about this co-wife’s ability to “speak Kody”. But today that train of thought has changed.

They never mentioned if crowning the youngest wife the horse whisperer for the Sister Wives family was something they did for the show. But whatever the reason, Janelle and Christine will not sing that tune again. Especially, after Janelle heard what Robyn Brown said to her kids.

Sister Wives: Janelle Puts Stop to Fantasy of Speaking Kody

Robyn Brown prides herself on her ability to understand Kody more than the other wives. She says so in the video below. But Janelle doesn’t buy into this. It especially hit her when the youngest co-wife said this to her kids. Robyn said she would be there when they talked to their father because she “speaks Kody.”

That did it for Janelle. She said they all did fine before Robyn arrived. And her kids said they could talk to their father without the fourth bride providing translation. Janelle seemed a bit miffed over this. As did Christine, who didn’t mix her words.

Christine said Robyn convinced all the wives that she could speak Kody. But the odd part is that they seemed to go with her train of thought on that. Christine said she even asked Robyn to mediate a conversation she was about to have with the Sister Wives patriarch.

But she realized how this sounded after knowing him for 30-plus years. So, she went it alone.

The bottom line from Janelle Brown is that Robyn Brown’s claim about speaking Kody always “bugged” her. She even said they did just fine in that department before Robyn arrived.

But one wife still believes that wife number four had a special way with Kody. For that reason, she would ask her to join them when they had a conversation. That’s Meri Brown, who still believes Robyn Brown speaks Kody, on and off the Sister Wives screen.
