Fans watched as she looked like she had enough of her shared husband. Now this season you see how she moved on. This second wife of this plural marriage felt as if her husband pushed her out of their decades-long plural marriage. But today, it’s what Janelle sees for her future after a life with Kody Brown that caused many jaws to drop.

Janelle Brown left her shared husband, Kody Brown, shortly after Christine Brown jumped ship. Christine knew what she wanted and cleared a path to seek out her dream.

Well, she found her that dream with David Woolley. Not too long after leaving the Sister Wives family, Christine became engaged. Her future husband is the polar opposite of Papa Brown in the romance department. David only has eyes for her, and this Sister Wives celeb loves not having to share her man with other women.

Janelle and Christine remain close. Both suffered through awful times with Kody in the last few seasons. So, most fans assumed that Janelle would likely start dating soon, and maybe one day find a man of her own like her best friend Christine.

Janelle Brown fit into the role of Kody’s buddy for years. That came first and unlike the other three wives, romance wasn’t all that important to wife number two. She had six kids with Kody, so they were more than buddies a few times throughout their marriage, but she didn’t need what Christine needed from their shared hubby.

Janelle would rather take part in an in-depth talk on a topic she and Kody both hold some interest in. But Christine was hands-on. She was seen several times moving in for a hug or kiss on Sister Wives, only to have Kody redirect her away from him.

So, recently, when Janelle was asked about dating, she became adamant that she was not ready for that yet. Then the topic of possibly getting married again one day came up. This is where the Sister Wives fans were stunned.

Sister Wives: Marriage for Janelle Down the Line?

Janelle made a surprising reveal to her fans. She will likely marry again one day, but she doesn’t want the marriage her bestie looks for with David. This wife thinks she still wants a plural marriage. It works for her, she said. This Sister Wives mom of six likes her independence and polygamy awards her a lot of time on her own.

So, for Janelle Brown that would not only mean a new man but all new women she would call her sister wives as well. Some fans think that if she happens to meet the right guy, her mind could change.

What’s surprising about this is that Janelle Brown was the only one of the Sister Wives‘ brides that didn’t grow up in a polygamous family. So, this is a concept she didn’t explore until she was an adult. Kody’s other three wives knew nothing else but the polygamous way of life.

While Janelle Brown’s mom married Kody’s father, that didn’t happen until after Janelle started dating Kody. So, her mom went into a polygamous marriage later in life than her daughter did. So, while Kody doesn’t cut it as a husband for Janelle, it looks like she hasn’t soured on polygamy despite the horrific scenes aired on the TLC show.
