The Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty cop universe film, Singham Again has taken a bumper opening at the box office in India. According to our tracking, Singham Again is headed to collect in the range of Rs. 43 crores to Rs. 45 crores on Friday, emerging career-best opener for both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.
The film ran at optimum capacity at multiple locations, and with a wider release, the opening day would have been even bigger. The film has collected almost Rs. 19 crore across the Top 3 national chains – PVR, Inox & Cinepolis – which has resulted in 45 percent of the total business. The film is outstanding in the mass belts, especially centres like UP, and Bihar, alongside Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Singham Again is carrying very good reports from the audiences and is expected to be one of the biggest hits of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s career. The film has strong advances for Saturday too and will be looking at a weekend of Rs. 130 crores plus. Places like MovieMax, Rajhans, and MovieTime have also gone on an overdrive on the first day for Singham Again.
