Shruti Anand opens up about Mehndi Wala Ghar; says, “I am looking forward to connecting with the audience through my acting abilities”

Best known for the show Mann Sundar, Shruti Anand, who started her career in the industry with character roles is all set for a power packed character in the upcoming show, Mehndi Wala Ghar. She will be seen in the new lead character of Mouli in this upcoming show on Sony TV which is a family drama and features an ensemble cast.

Recalling her journey in the industry, the actress says, “I started my journey in the industry by doing a character role and I remember that I was a new girl on the set, learning new things, and I was a new girl on set learning the knowhow of acting craft, tools and tricks around the camera. Post that show, I bagged my first lead role in the Dangal TV show Mann Sundar, which obviously showed me in a different light and turned the tables for me in terms of the audience reaction and support. I got recognition for my performance in the show, which gave me a much-needed push in my career. It’s an undeniable fact that things change for you when you play the lead role.”

Further talking about her doing Mehndi Wala Ghar, Shruti added, “I am happy to be back with a bigger canvas after 7-8 months. I believe while shooting for my previous shows I gathered various new experiences and learned a lot from the same. The character I am playing in the show, Mehndi Wala Ghar, is quite different from the previous ones and I am looking forward to connecting with the audience through my acting abilities.” Lastly, talking about the start of the new year, the actress says, “Well, 2024 has started on a good note for me professionally, and I just hope that this year brings more new opportunities on the table for me and helps me grow in my life with new experiences and learning.”

Professionally, Shruti Anand was last seen in the TV show Mann Sundar as the lead Ruchita. She made her television debut with Teri Ladli Main. Meanwhile, Mehndi Wala Ghar is all set to premiere on Sony TV soon.
