Bandish Bandits Season 2 has been one of the most talked about shows ever since its release. And all eyes are on the leading lady of the show – Shreya Chaudhry. She has been soaking in all the love and appreciation coming her way not just from the audiences and fans of the show but also from the legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah himself.
The actor featured in Season One of Bandish Bandits playing the role of Panditji. Little do people know that Naseeruddin Shah and the actress shared a great bond off-screen and that she looks up to him.
Talking about her bond with Naseeruddin Shah and feeling overwhelmed receiving his message, Shreya Chaudhry says, “Naseeruddin Sir is my biggest source of inspiration. I learnt a lot from him in season one and was lucky enough to observe him and workshop with him. So to receive a message from Sir after he watched season 2 is an honour of the highest order. His feedback and praise for the performance is my biggest reward. It’s very gratifying and reassuring, and gives me a sense that I am growing as an actor.”
As part of her upcoming projects, Shreya Chaudhry will also feature in Boman Irani’s anticipated directorial debut film – The Mehta Boys alongside Avinash Tiwary in 2025.
