With the trailer release of the film Munjya, we hear that there has been a new addition to the world of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe which already includes films like Bhediya and Stree. The film will star Sharvari Wagh as the leading lady and not too long ago, the actress expressed her desire for it to merge with the rest of the films in the universe and it seems her wish has been granted as she was seen with Varun Dhawan.
On May 25, Sharvari Wagh took to her Instagram page to share a photo with Varun Dhawan where the two actors, dressed casually, posed alongside an infinity pool. The actress also shared a quirky caption along with it wherein she made references to their films Munjya and Bhediya as she said, “Bhediya wants to know who is #Munjya’s Munni…” While fans dropped heart emojis, many of them also showcased their interest where some asked for a crossover along with adding Stree, played by Shraddha Kapoor, to the mix.

In an earlier interaction, Sharvari too had expressed her desire to be a part of the Dinesh Vijan Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe by saying, “The horror-verse has huge stars of our industry and I’m honoured to be a part of this universe. I wish Munjya’s world meets the worlds of Stree & Bhediya in due course of time. I’m secretly praying for that to happen soon!”
For the unversed, Varun Dhawan essayed the character of Bhediya in the 2022 fantasy-horror comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, whereas Shraddha Kapoor is already a part of this universe as Stree with a sequel of the film in the pipeline.
Speaking of Munjya, the horror comedy features a unique child-like ghost who is in search of his long-lost love Munni and wants to marry her. The film, also starring Abhay Verma and Mona Singh in key roles along with Sharvari, is slated for release on June 7.
