Jawan, directed by Atlee, has been distributed in Japan by Twin, a leading company known for bringing Indian cinema to Japanese audiences. The film’s popularity was evident long before its release, as advanced bookings opened on July 5, 2024.

The high-octane action-drama, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, became a global sensation following its initial release in 2023. The film grossed Rs 761.98 crores in India and Rs 386.34 crores internationally, amassing a worldwide total of Rs 1,148.32 crores.
