Its curtains down for the Akshay Kumar film, Sarfira, as the collections of this Sudha Kongara directorial have come crashing at the box office on Monday. As per early estimates, Sarfira has collected in the range of Rs 1.35 crores to 1.50 crores on the fourth day, taking total collections to Rs. 14.25 crores.
The film should have ideally clocked a Monday equal to Friday, but the numbers have seen a major dip of around 50%, suggesting that its game over. The lifetime collections of Sarfira from hereon will be around the 25-crore mark, which spells disaster for all the stakeholders.
Sarfira was received with positive reviews upon its release from the critics, but the audience seems disinterested in consuming the content. It’s a hattrick of failures for Akshay Kumar – Mission Raniganj, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Sarfira.
