Sara Ali Khan opens up about the importance of ‘creating a balanced lifestyle’; says, “It nurtures the body and the mind”

While it is key for celebrities to maintain a certain kind of lifestyle, a lot of them have revealed that they often ensure that their wellness revolves around a schedule that not only benefits their body but also their mind. Similarly, Sara Ali Khan, who has confessed about undergoing an extensive physical transformation and a major journey battling PCOS and other health conditions, recently revealed her secrets behind maintaining her physical and mental health.

Sara Ali Khan reveals details of her wellness practices

In a recent interview with Cosmo India, Sara Ali Khan insisted on maintaining a strict schedule for her physical and mental health and revealed that she prefers to have a holistic approach towards it which includes practices that not only help to maintain the body but also the mind. Speaking about how they contribute to an individual’s overall well-being, Sara added, “Wellness practices are essential for overall well-being. It’s all about creating a balanced lifestyle that nurtures both body and mind. I set aside an hour each day for meditation or yoga, which helps me unwind and relax. I also dedicate time for exercise, whether it’s Pilates or a quick workout session. Physical activity clears my mind and boosts my energy levels.”

She also swore by a few other practices and shared about it saying, “Apart from staying active, I maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated. I also prioritise a proper sleep schedule to ensure I’m well-rested. Reading is another wellness practice I love. It’s a wonderful way to relax and escape into different worlds, giving my mind a much-needed break.”

About Sara Ali Khan’s health challenges

In the past, the Simmba actress has confessed that she has always had struggles with her weight mainly due to her PCOD diagnosis. However, it is also true that the actress’ dedication towards her health has always helped her to get back in shape. “For me, the most functional way to deal with PCOD is to eat healthy, sleep in a regimented way- try to regularise your body clock and to get in a certain amount of work out every day if you can so that your hormone levels remain stable,” she had said in one of her older interviews.
