The romantic comedy with a family backdrop is looking to clock an advance booking of 75,000 by the end of Thursday in the three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

Given the advance booking trends, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is headed towards an opening day in the range of Rs. 11 to 13 crores. A Karan Johar directorial with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi should have aimed at a start in the range of Rs. 16 to 18 crores, but it seems like a day of Rs. 13 crore at the max for this romantic film, which will include some bulk bookings.
