Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has crossed Rs. 25 crores mark in two days, what with Saturday seeing a good growth in numbers over Friday, which had brought in Rs. 11.10 crores. This was the need of the hour as well since in absence of that, it would have been a rather flat weekend for the Karan Johar biggie and that wouldn’t have been the right result for this big budget film, which has been carrying very good expectations right through.
Thankfully, with this growth which has come in, as apparent in Saturday collections of Rs. 16.05 crores, there is now an upward trajectory that can be expected for the film. To begin with, all associated with the family drama would be expecting that a similar momentum continues into Sunday as well and there is good growth evidenced. If Rs. 18-19 crores more come in today, then it would result in a weekend from where consolidation can take place.
So far, the film has collected Rs. 27.15 crores and though the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer was being pegged as a biggie that would see a weekend total of Rs. 45-50 crores, for now Rs. 44-45 crores is a given with a bit more expected to be added to that as well before the weekdays kick-start.
