Always bringing something new, Rasika now adds a new layer to her already impressive portfolio, promising audiences a fresh and imaginative cinematic experience.
Talking about her experience, Rasika says, “Fairy Folk is an improvised film. I thought this style of filming was very unique. While I was thrilled to experiment with this as an actor, I also felt I wanted to be more involved in a film that celebrates the spirit of independent cinema with the brave choices it makes. It’s light-hearted, it’s fun and yet it says so much about love, relationships, sexuality, and gender. It is a very different film from what our audiences might have seen before.”
Adds Mukul, “This film has been a labour of love. It’s unique in both its narrative choices and style of filmmaking. Such films need many people to come together and do things well outside their comfort zone, to get made. It’s pushed me, and also given me a lot of joy.”
