Ranvir Shorey reveals why he’s struggling in the industry to Munawar Faruqui; says, “Networking isn’t my thing”

Ranvir Shorey is trying to make his mark, locked away in a house where he has to deal with people from different walks of life. The new season of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 is trying to maintain the attention of its viewers by introducing new twists and turns. And now, adding to the ongoing arguments and debates, the house will have a surprise visitor in the form of Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui.  Among the many, who shared heartfelt conversations with the reality show star and standup comedian was also Ranvir Shorey.

In a candid conversation with Faruqui, Ranvir revealed why he’s struggling to find work in the industry. He admitted, “Meri networking abilities acchi nahi hai (My networking skills are not good). ‘Fake it till you make it’ is not in me, and it’s an important approach in my industry. I have worked with many big names, but there are many I haven’t worked with. They meet me at parties, appreciate my work, but then do not cast me.”

Ranvir also shared his evolving perspective on reality TV. He explained, “Bigg Boss changed my perception. I’ve been offered the show for the past 10 years, but now I truly believe it’s a human experiment—a simulation of the world. It involves sharing resources with strangers, handling conflicts, forming bonds, and evolving relationships. You learn a lot about yourself.”
