The Ambani wedding celebrations continue to enthrall, with Bollywood’s biggest names gracing the occasion. Following the grand wedding, Day 2’s Shubh Aashirwad ceremony saw a shift in the dress code to Indian Formal, and the stars certainly delivered. However, on Friday night, Ranveer Singh had two changes. Singh once again set the internet ablaze with his regal attire.
Ditching the vibrant colours he’s known for, Singh opted for a head-to-toe black ensemble by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani. The actor sported a luxurious velvet bandhgala, adorned with intricate bronze-coloured Mughal zari embroidery across the collar. The same embroidery detail continued along the border of his dhoti, creating a cohesive and striking look.
Adding a touch of drama, Singh styled the dupatta by draping it over one shoulder and around his wrist, a signature flourish that complemented the voluminous dhoti. He was styled by Eka Lakhani. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim ensured Singh’s ultra-stylish man bun remained the perfect finishing touch.
But Singh’s sartorial choices extended beyond the outfit. The Dil Dhadakne Do actor completed his look with a pair of eye-catching Christian Louboutin Black Suede Leather Tassel Detail Spike Loafers, estimated to cost a cool Rs. 72,411. Discreet luxury shone through with a sleek dual-toned watch and his wedding ring.
However, one accessory managed to steal the show (almost) from Singh himself – a magnificent Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watch. Crafted from 18Kt rose gold, this timepiece is estimated to be worth a staggering Rs. 2 crore, adding a final touch of extravagance to the already impressive ensemble.
