Ranbir Kapoor says Alia Bhatt has made several sacrifices in their relationship; recalls birth of their daughter Raha: “It’s an incredible feeling”

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has opened up about the profound impact of fatherhood on his life. The often guarded star, in the new episode of “People by WTF,” host Nikhil Kamath, described the birth of his daughter, Raha, as the pinnacle of his existence.

“The moment I held Raha in my arms for the first time, it was like my heart had been physically extracted and placed in my hands,” Ranbir shared emotionally. “It’s an indescribable feeling, a love so immense and pure that it surpasses anything I’ve ever known.”

The doting father also described the unique bond he shares with his daughter. While Raha and Alia seem to share an almost symbiotic connection, Ranbir revels in the playful and fun-loving dynamic they have established. “We’re constantly flirting and laughing together,” he confessed.

Reflecting on his marriage to Alia Bhatt, Ranbir acknowledged the importance of compromise and adaptation. “Especially when you’re in a marriage, you have to let go of your personality. She’s also letting go of her personality. We’re adjusting to each other to make it livable for each other. Any marriage is doing that. You have to let go, you have to adjust, you have to sacrifice facets of it. It’s impossible for two people to like each other the way they are,” he said.

The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in April 2022, welcomed Raha into their lives in November of the same year.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
