Raashii Khanna attends poster launch of Bhoomi Namaskar anthem hosted by Bhamla Foundation

Raashii Khanna, who recently made her Bollywood debut in Yodha, decided to showcase her support in promoting the sustainable lifestyle and joined in the efforts to keep our environment healthy with her gesture. To showcase her contribution towards a better future, Raashii attended an event hosted by social activists Asif Bhamla and Saher Bhamla in association with their NGO Bhamla Foundation where they unveiled an interactive video campaign and launched the poster of their new initiative Bhoomi Namaskar’s anthem.

Speaking about her association with a noble cause and expressing her idea of a healthy environment, Raashii Khanna said, “I am very happy to be here. Bhamla Foundation has been always at the forefront of doing activities that spread awareness about sustainable living and ways to save the environment with acts such as planting trees or clean the beaches. These small things can make a big impact. In fact, even I plant trees on my birthday every year as a tradition but environment day is not just supposed to be one day, it’s supposed to be everyday. We’re supposed to celebrate our environment for all that it has given us. Inn chote chote ways me hum iss planet ko behtar bana sakte hai apni future generations ke liye (These are the small ways in which we can help the planet to be a better place for our future generations).

Speaking about the event, it took place at Carter Road Amphitheater and high-profile dignitaries such as Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, and various central ministers, bureaucrats, businessmen, and film personalities were also in attendance to set a positive example among the community and to celebrate World Environment Day.

On the work front, Raashii Khanna was last seen in the Tamil film Aranmanai 4 alongside Tamannaah Bhatia. The actress is now looking forward to the release of her Hindi films which includes The Sabarmati Report and Talaakhon Mein Ek along with Telugu film Telusu Kada in the pipeline.
