Pushpa 2 becomes the fastest film to enter the Rs. 500 crores club globally in just 3 days

Pushpa: The Rise, the first film in the Pushpa franchise, became a surprise hit in its Hindi dubbed version. Despite the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic was going on and there was only 50% occupancy in theatres, the film became a runaway hit. Hence, there were high expectations from the second film in the series, Pushpa 2: The Rule. But the movie has surprised the makers and trade by being a tornado at the box office so far.

After earning a huge number at the national box office in its first two days, the Allu Arjun starrer has been making tremendous waves internationally too. Pushpa 2 has now become the fastest film to enter the Rs. 500 crores club globally. The film has achieved this feat in just the first three days. In fact, its worldwide total currently stands at an incredible Rs. 575 crores.

With the film reaching this number in such a short time, it is just a matter of time before it reaches the rare Rs. 1000 crores worldwide club. Pushpa 2 will be helped a lot today as it’s a Sunday. In fact, as per early reports, the advances for today have been tremendous, which will ensure a big number for the film today as well.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
