What a nostalgic time! By posting a flashback snapshot of herself with actress Katrina Kaif on Instagram Stories, Priyanka Chopra sent fans on a trip down memory lane. Priyanka shared the photo and wrote, “Woah… Dunno who took it and when this picture was taken but babies…@katrinakaif.”
Both stars can be seen getting ready for a dance number in the photo that is grabbing everyone’s attention. They are grinning at the camera while wearing glistening clothes. While Katrina is sporting an orange and golden sequined top with tassels and beads, Priyanka is spotted wearing a green backless blouse. Compared to their current images, the two actors appear very different.
It was anticipated that Priyanka and Katrina would star with Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa. Everyone was thrilled when Farhan revealed the movie in 2021. Since then, there haven’t been any significant updates on the movie, leading some to speculate that Priyanka may have left the project because of scheduling conflicts. The screenplay, co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, is being postponed while Priyanka’s successor is reportedly being sought.
Priyanka just finished filming her Hollywood movie Heads of State, which co-stars John Cena and Idris Elba. “And it’s a wrap,” she wrote as she announced the news on Instagram. “And it’s a wrap. It’s been a year. well, a lot happened but here we are. Tonight I wrapped on a set that was always so full of laughter and professionalism. That rare combination doesn’t happen always.. This movie was a breeze because the cast and crew came prepared with their A game, everyday.” She continued, “It’s been an honour to work with some legends in our business on this one. Hope y’all have as much fun watching it as we did making it. Heads of state will be on @primevideo .. when u ask me? Above my pay grade. lol. Gratitude.”
