Prime Video hosted a special screening of its original Agni in Surat, offering a unique opportunity for firefighters and chief officers to experience the action-packed drama on the big screen upon its global premiere. This exclusive screening held in Surat, was a heartfelt tribute to the brave individuals who serve on the front lines, combating fires and saving lives.

In the presence of 80 real-life firefighters, the departments and fire chief officers; including Surat Municipal Commissioner – Shalini Agarwal, Deputy Mayor – Dr Narendra Patil, Standing Committee Chairman – Shri Rajan B. Patel along with Ruling Party Leader – Mr. Shashi Tripathi and Mr. Dharmesh Vaniyawala, Chief Fire Officer – Mr. Basant Parekh, Deputy Municipal Commissioner – Dr Rajendra Patel and Mr. Kamlesh Naik and hosted by RJ Meet. The event was a special affair that aimed at honouring the legacy of these spirited unsung heroes. The event was also graced by the film’s leading man Pratik Gandhi, who plays an honest and sincere firefighter in the film.

Considering that Agni is created as an ode to the dedication and commitment of the valiant heroes, the evening was filled with excitement as attendees celebrated the film’s compelling narrative and its exploration of the heroic world of firefighters.

Speaking of the film, Agni marks Hindi cinema’s first cinematic portrayal of the life and heroism of firefighters, serving as a poignant salute to their fearless spirit, honour, and sacrifices.
