The directorial debut of Payal Kapadia won against all odds at the Grand Prix, which is a part of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival in France. Many celebrities took to the platform on Sunday to share their pride and happiness over the win which included the likes of Kiara Advani, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Bhumi Pednekar, Radhika Apte, Soni Razdan, Anurag Kashyap, Shekhar Kapur, among many others.
Speaking of the film, All We Imagine as Light is a 2024 drama film written and directed by Payal Kapadia. Starring Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon in lead roles, the film features two Mumbai-based Malayali who decide to embark on a road trip to a beach town to escape their troubled lives in the city.
