Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to a recent post by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, expressing his intrigue and admiration for the religious and mystical aspects of Kailash Parbat. In his response, PM Modi extended an invitation to the legendary actor to visit Rann Utsav in Kutch and also mentioned that Mr. Bachchan’s visit to the Statue of Unity in Vadodara is overdue.
On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, about the captivating aura and divinity of Kailash Parbat. He wrote, “T 4799 – The religiosity .. the mystery .. the divinity of Kailash Parbat , has been intriguing me for long .. and the tragedy is that I shall never be able to visit it in person ..” His post garnered attention from numerous users who inquired about his well-being and the reasons for not visiting the location. In response to Bachchan’s post, Prime Minister Modi expressed his enchantment with his recent visit to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples. He wrote, “My visit to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples was truly mesmerising. In the coming weeks, Rann Utsav is starting and I would urge you to visit Kutch. Your visit to Statue of Unity is also due.”

On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai last year, which also starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra. He has Kalki 2898 AD helmed by Nag Ashwin. It’s a sci-fi film that also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu. Bachchan will also soon feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84. Recently, it was also revealed that Amitabh Bachchan will be part of Rajinikanth’s upcoming project, Thalaivar 170. In addition to Rajinikanth, the cast of the film includes Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil.
