Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra expressed her displeasure over the circulation of fake statements by certain fan clubs. Over the weekend, several fan clubs falsely claimed that Parineeti had voiced her support for her cousin Mannara Chopra, a contestant on Bigg Boss 17. Despite Priyanka Chopra expressing her support for Mannara earlier, misleading statements attributed to Parineeti started circulating, suggesting her endorsement of Mannara’s growing popularity on the Salman Khan-hosted show. Parineeti, however, did not specify the exact content of the false statements but took to her Instagram stories on November 25 to set the record straight.
In her Instagram story, Parineeti Chopra issued a stern warning to fan clubs and individuals spreading misinformation. She clarified that she has not given any interviews or made statements supporting or appreciating any artists recently. Her message read, “I am seeing fan clubs put out quotes in favor of their artists, using my name. These are fake. I have given no interviews/quotes about anyone, congratulating them or appreciating them. I am watching, and will be reporting you. Also – get your facts checked first! A little Googling never hurt anyone (smile emoji).”
On the professional front, Parineeti’s most recent appearance was in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue alongside Akshay Kumar. Her future endeavours encompass the biopic of Amar Singh Chamkila and a film named Capsule.
