Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has reacted to being replaced by Ananya Panday in the upcoming film Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana. For the unversed, the original Dream Girl, which was released in 2019, was a hit.
While speaking with ETimes, the actress said, “I was part of Dream Girl 1 and I love that whole team. I terribly miss working with them. But why they didn’t cast me in Dream Girl 2, I think only they can answer. I don’t know why they didn’t cast me. Everyone has the right to make their choices and decisions. Similarly, I have the right to feel disappointed and be vocal about it. Nonetheless, I would have loved to work with the team again and definitely do miss them.”
Nushrratt also said that she has watched the trailer of Dream Girl 2 and wished all the luck to Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, and the team of the film.
Coming to the professional front, Nushrratt is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film Akeli, which is slated to release on August 25. It is worth mentioning here that Akeli, which was earlier scheduled to release on August 18, will be arriving in theatres on the same day as Dream Girl 2.
