Whitney Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life may be off the hook for having kids. With the discovery of a new family member comes grandchildren and a great-grandchild for Glenn Thore. So, he has given up on his daughter and son, Hunter Thore, making him a grandfather.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore & Glenn Call Long Lost Daughter

Whitney Thore is able to convince her father, Glenn Thore, to call his long-lost daughter, Angie. He knew he had fathered a child out of wedlock. But when the baby was born, he was living abroad in Japan. He was also told that the baby was put up for adoption. And he never heard from the mother of the baby girl again.

So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member calls Angie for the first time. Hearing her voice for the first time was surreal. He tells her that he has always thought about her. He also hoped that she was cared for and had a good life.

Angie tells Glenn that her adoption wasn’t a secret. She always knew. She was also very proud of it. The TLC celeb’s long-lost daughter also says that she had a great childhood. However, she has always wanted to meet her biological parents because she wanted them to know she was doing well.

Glenn Thore Gets Present from Great-Granddaughter

Glenn finds out from Angie that he has three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Whitney had put together a family tree so they could get to know who was who.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate gets a package in the mail. Whitney says it’s from Angie. So, he opens the box and takes out a pillow.

Glenn reads the poem that is on the pillow. It starts off with the word granddaddy. It then says that the poem is from Madeline. He admits he doesn’t know who that person is.

Whitney laughs at her dad and tells him it’s Maddie, his great-granddaughter. He admits that it is the first time her full name, Madeline, came up. He knows her as Maddie.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Not Expecting Grandbabies

Whitney Thore reminds Glenn Thore that he is a grandfather and a great-grandfather. He tells his daughter and son, Hunter Thore, it is “no help from you guys.” She jokes about being thankful he has another family to give him the grandbabies he wants.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star explains that as time passes, Whitney is getting older, and Hunter doesn’t have “anybody on the horizon.” So, he and Babs Thore got used to the idea of not having grandchildren. However, his daughter doesn’t feel it’s right for him to speak on his mother’s behalf. However, he assures her that he knows what Babs would be thinking.

So, now, Whitney feels that she and Hunter are “off the hook.” Her brother says, “Everybody wins in this scenario.” He adds that his father gets grandkids, and his sister adds, “We don’t got to change no diapers.”
