Whitney Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life is doing better after her mother, Babs Thore‘s death. She is ready for the new season to start. However, she knows it will be a tough one to watch.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Faces Tough Times

Whitney Thore lost her mother, Babs Thore, late last year. She and her mother had an unbreakable bond. However, at a very young age, she would worry about the day her parents would pass away. So, when the day came for her mother to pass away, it was not an easy time.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star reveals that the past two months have been more difficult than any other since Babs died. She thinks about her mother every day. But for the past couple of months, she has found herself getting stuck on thoughts about her mother more. She has also been crying more.

Whitney admits to being a “huge crier.” So, her friends were even surprised at how little she cried after her mother’s passing. But, now the tears are flowing.

Whitney Doing Better than She Thought

Whitney admits that she doesn’t know a lot about grief. So, she wonders if her brain is protecting her from feeling certain emotions. However, she thinks that those emotions are starting to come out now.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member also reveals that she has been dreaming about Babs more. And she didn’t right after her death.

However, Whitney feels she is doing much better than she ever thought she would. She always said that her parents dying would put her in the hospital. She didn’t know that she would be able to live without them.

Now, when she thinks about having the strength to get through something, she always thinks about Babs. The TLC star feels she had the best last months with her mother. She said everything she wanted to say to her and heard everything she wanted to hear from her. She feels her mother gave her everything, except that she “couldn’t live forever.”

My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Watching New Season

Whitney Thore admits that she will be watching the new season of her TLC show. She knows it’s going to be hard to watch. But she isn’t comfortable knowing that millions of people have watched something about her life that she hasn’t seen. So, she will be watching it.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate knows that the episode of her mother’s funeral will be “as tastefully and as wonderfully as can be.” She feels the production crew loved Babs just as much as she loved them. They know how much the show meant to her.

Whitney got a lot of hate from fans for filming her mother’s funeral. However, she stands by her father’s decision to share it with the public. She felt that the public loved Babs. So, they wanted her to be mourned publicly.
