Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One Box Office: Tom Cruise starrer grows further on Friday, set to have big Saturday and Sunday

It was yet another good day for Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One as the film saw a bit of a growth on Friday. This was always on the cards since it’s the start of the weekend. However, the film had released on Wednesday and already seen good numbers that day as well as on Thursday, which means all that it had to do was stay stable on Friday and not go down. That was not a worry point either since the word of mouth is quite positive about the film, as a result of which Rs. 9.50 crores* more came in.

Currently standing at Rs. 31 crores, the film will now very comfortably go past the Rs. 40 crores mark today and then add at least a couple of crores more as well. The shows are already going houseful for the film, especially at the premium properties like IMAX, which are sold out. Since the film is designed as a big screen entertainer, the best of the screens at the urban centres are registering the highest occupancy as well.

Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One is yet another Hollywood biggie to be doing so well in India and as has been their trend in 2023, majority of such big screen entertainers are really finding good audiences. Of course, they do have inherent content as well, which is doing the trick. Hence, it’s just that the ratio of good Hollywood movies is far higher than Bollywood this year so far and the trend is only continuing in the second half as well.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
