Mama June: Family Crisis star June Shannon recently announced that she and the family are giving fans of the WEtv reality show a special gift.

Mama June: Family Crisis – Anna Cardwell’s Tragic Passing

Recently, Mama June: Family Crisis celebrity June Shannon announced the tragic death of her 29-year-old daughter, Anna (Chickadee) Cardwell. She had been battling the rare cancer Adrenal Carcinoma for the last ten months.

It’s an extremely aggressive cancer that attacked her liver, left lung, left kidney, and spleen. Anna fought a hard fight, but she succumbed to the cancer at June’s home at 11:12 pm on December 9, 2023, peaceful and surrounded by family.

Of course, June and Anna’s sisters, Lauryn (Pumpkin) Shannon, Alana (Honey Boo Boo) Thompson), and Jessica (Chubbs) Shannon, are heartbroken. Along with Joanne (Doe Doe) Shannon and her family.

And, of course, the most heartbreaking part is that Anna leaves behind her two young daughters, Kaitlyn Cardwell and Kylee Cardwell. However, the Mama June: Family Crisis stars are celebrating Anna even though they are mourning her.

Since Anna’s passing, June and the girls have been posting happy memories of her all over social media. They are urging fans to support Anna by blowing up her Instagram and TikTok.

They want to keep her memory alive and share all of the wonderful memories they’ve made together. Indeed, Anna was a bright light, and fans love seeing her happiest moments.

Mama June: Family Crisis Fans Included in Funeral Services

Recently, June gave fans a little surprise on social media. She announced that Anna’s Funeral Service will be held at White Columns in Gordon, Georgia. The visitation is from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the service follows. Furthermore, she stated that she and the family are allowing Anna’s fans to join them in saying goodbye to her.

She’s doing this for Anna because she knows how much she loved her fans and she wouldn’t have any other way. She and the girls are fighting through their grief to do what Anna would want. They are putting her wishes above their grief.

Indeed, this is a dark time for June Shannon’s family and fans of the WEtv reality series. But, it’s wonderful that fans can pay their respects to Anna. We will continue to keep you informed as we get more updates on the Shannon family.
