Mahesh Babu asks a reporter if he is ‘jealous’ as the latter questions about his constant holidays

Readers would be aware that Mahesh Babu is often seen taking off on fun trips, exploring picturesque locales abroad with his family. Recently, the Telugu superstar was seen ringing in his birthday in England and Europe, as his wife and former actress Namrata Shirodkar shared several glimpses from their London and Scotland vacay. During an event when the Prince of Tollywood was asked by a reporter about the many vacations and holidays he takes, the actor quizzed the latter if he was jealous of the trips he takes.

Mahesh Babu recently was seen speaking about his upcoming film Guntur Kaaram, as fans cannot wait to see the superstar on the big screen, especially considering that this is his first release this year. During the same, one of the reporters wondered about the photo dump that the actor often shares on social media along with his wife Namrata Shirodkar as the two of them keep giving their fans a sneak peek into their family holiday time. Along with Mahesh and Namrata, their kids Gautham and Sitara Ghattamaneni also accompany the duo for their long holidays.

Responding to the question about his frequent trips, Mahesh Babu asked, “Do you find them interesting or are you jealous?” He continued speaking about it adding, “I go on trips regularly and share them on Instagram for everyone. I’m aware of the comments. Whenever there is a break between shooting schedules or when my children have holidays, we go on trips as a family. I also believe that people derive pleasure and happiness from my photos. I don’t know and I can’t be certain if people would feel jealous. I don’t see why others shouldn’t appreciate me going on vacations.”

As a fan shared this video on social media, some fans defended the superstar as one of them even wondered the reason behind the reporter asking such a frivolous question. “When and how many vacations he goes on is none of your business. People get overly possessive about their favourite stars. Get a real job,” said one of them.

Talking about Mahesh’s work commitments, his next Guntur Kaaram is expected to star Sreeleela as the leading lady and is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The actor also has the highly anticipated untitled adventure drama with S.S. Rajamouli.
