Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to make their first appearance as a pair on the first episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 8 in the coming week. While fans can’t keep calm to see their favourite couple in a warm, heartfelt conversation about their decade-plus-long relationship, they are in for a bigger treat. And the first promo of the premiere episode is out and it looks fantastic.
Deepika and Ranveer arrive dressed in all-black outfits. The actors talk about their decade-long relationship, share fun moments on the new couch of KWK 8, In the promo, Karan asks Deepika, during rapid fire round, “Would you ever date Rocky Randhawa?” To which, a happy Deepika replies, “I am married to Rocky Randhawa.” It is Ranveer’s flamboyant character in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in Karan Johar’s latest film.

Amongst the very few glimpses, Ranveer Singh says, “Kya hi ho raha hai duniya mein, Karan kaale kapde pehen raha hai. Game pehle aa raha hai, rapid fire baad mein, kya hi ho raha hai!”
Karan then goes on to ask, “Besides Ranveer, who do you think you have the best on-screen chemistry with?” To which, Deepika says, “I think with Hrithik which everyone’s going to see.” Ranveer was quick on the spot mimicking Hrithik Roshan, which he also did last season, as he says, “Can’t wait to see it, Yaara!”
In the episode, fans will get to see the first visuals of Deepika and Ranveer’s 2018 wedding for the first time ever. While the couple had a private wedding in 2018, an intimate affair with very close family and friends in attendance, fans will get to see a sneak peek from it after almost 5 years. While the photos that the couple released are still adored and are considered goals, the unseen footage from the wedding will definitely break the Internet.
Koffee With Karan season 8 will kick off on October 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
