2024 will begin on a thrilling note thanks to Merry Christmas. Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, this Sriram Raghavan directorial’s trailer was unveiled recently and has caught attention. It was all set to release in December 2023 to coincide with the Christmas festival. The film was moved due to a plethora of releases and a lack of screen space. Nevertheless, the makers managed to release the trailer around the much-awaited festival. During an interaction held by Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi and Sriram Raghavan talked about Merry Christmas and in the end responded to fan questions. At this point, Katrina opened up about her bond with her husband Vicky Kaushal and it turned out to be a highlight of the event.
A fan asked Katrina Kaif how she maintains her demeanour and calmness every time. Katrina smiled and began by saying, “You need to ask this question to Vicky.” The fans couldn’t stop clapping as soon as they heard this statement.
Katrina Kaif continued, “I go home and speak for 45 minutes if I am worked up about something. It’s an incredible rant. At times, beech-beech mein, he might say ‘I didn’t understand this line. You spoke so fast’ or ‘your English was accented here’. I’ll express everything. He listens with so much sincerity and acceptance that you feel like the burden is off your chest and we forget about it. That’s how I appear very calm and composed.”
And how did she remain calm before she met Vicky Kaushal? Katrina revealed, “Before I met Vicky, I think I have always kept this one line which has always helped me a lot in my life. I read somewhere that ‘Observe what you feel, and do what you must’. A lot of times, it won’t go exactly what you wish for. Something will happen that will make you upset. I try to understand that this would happen and I continue to do what I must, which has helped me to be calm and composed.”
