Kashvi Majmundar opens up about playing the daughter of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan in Prime Video’s Citadel: Honey Bunny

Prime Video’s Citadel: Honey Bunny proves to be an exhilarating new story born from the world of Citadel. This Raj & DK directorial offers an original story featuring Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem among others as it takes you back to the nostalgic era of the 90s. Amid this star-studded ensemble, child artist Kashvi Majmundar too has garnered attention as she plays Young Nadia, daughter of Samantha and Varun’s characters and the younger version of Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ character from the US Citadel.

Kashvi’s performance is not only winning over audiences but also earning rave reviews from critics. With so much love coming her way, Kashvi reflected on her character in Citadel: Honey Bunny,  and shared, “I had a lot of fun playing Nadia in Citadel: Honey Bunny, and I am so happy that the audience is loving my performance in the series. Nadia is brave and clever, and I think we’re kind of similar because we both love learning new things, especially languages. It was really exciting to act in scenes where Nadia had to be fearless. I even had to learn some karate moves, like kicks and punches, which was awesome. My coach helped me practice, and now I feel like I can defend myself in real life too. Working with Raj & DK sir and my onscreen parents was amazing – they taught me so much about acting and staying focused. Plus, getting to play the younger version of Priyanka Chopra’s character is a huge honor because she’s one of my favorite actors.”

Produced by D2R Films and Amazon MGM Studios, Citadel: Honey Bunny is directed by the incredible Raj & DK and executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO, with Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes from AGBO, alongside David Weil (Hunters) overseeing the series and all productions within the Citadel universe. Midnight Radio also serves as an executive producer. Headlined by Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the series also features Simran Bagga, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and others in key roles. Citadel: Honey Bunny is now available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
