Kartik Aaryan has time and again stressed the fact that Chandu Champion is a project that is much more than a film. As he continues to speak about the love that is coming his way for the emotional and inspirational drama, Kartik also recalled the kind of challenges he experienced during the shoot of the film. In fact, he confessed that while shooting for one of the scenes, he almost missed a major eye injury.
Kartik Aaryan recalls the scene which could have cost his eye
In an interview with Zoom, Kartik Aaryan recalled shooting for the war sequences, which were an integral part of Chandu Champion and this particular scene required the actor to be shooting right in the middle of battlefield along with other actors. Talking about the same, he said, “All of us are running and there is an explosion. Mere right side bhaagte hue just pehle hona tha (While I was running, the explosion happened beside me on my right side).
He further mentioned that he was lucky enough to have missed it without any injuries. Elaborating on the sequence and expressing gratitude due to mistiming of the incident, Kartik added, “Woh kuch timing off ho gaya rehearsal mein toh main jab pahucha hoon us jagah pe, woh usi time blast ho gaya. Mere right eye pe blast kar gaya tha (The timing was a little off during rehearsals, otherwise it would have blast right at the time I would have been reached. It would have definitely injured my right eye)”.
