After Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan became parents, paparazzi was quite interested about their first born Taimur Ali Khan, who was frequently pictured by them. Along with him, it was his nanny Lalita D’Silva who captured the attention of many. Interestingly, she was also present at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, since she was also the nanny of the Ambani boy during his early days. As she opened up about the Ambani wedding, Lalita also recalled the fond memories she shared with the Khans.
‘Kareena Kapoor Khan follows Christianity’ reveals Lalita
Discussing details about what it was like to be a part of the household of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, Lalita mentioned that Kareena is a simple woman who was very loving towards her kids but also knew to follow discipline and rules inside the house. Further elaborating on their spiritual side of the actress, she revealed that even though Kareena followed Christianity, she also wanted her child to be exposed to her Punjabi roots.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Lalita Dsilva opened up about the actress being a firm believer in Christianity and added, “She used to tell me if you like to play hymns, play hymns for my kids (Taimur and Jeh). I used to play hymns. Kareena also used to ask me to play the Punjabi hymn — Ek Onkaar. She also knows that it is important to keep our kids surrounded with positive vibes.”

Asserting that their schedule is like any other normal family, Lalita shared, “They are such simple people. The morning routine is such that the staff, and Kareena and Saif, we all eat the same food. There’s no such thing that there will separate food for the staff. Same food and same quality. So many times we have all eaten together.”
