After collecting Rs. 22.50 crores on Thursday, Rs. 23.75 crores on Friday, and Rs. 26.25 crores on Saturday, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan-led Kalki went on a rampage on its first Sunday. The film ran to packed houses all across the country and has collected in the range of Rs. 37.50 to 38.50 crores on the fourth day. With this, the total collections of Kalki 2898 AD stands at Rs. 110 crores.
The film is faring well all across the board – from East to West, from North to South – and is headed to become a true blue Pan-Indian Blockbuster in the long run. Despite the high costs, the makers will be in the profit, which will be put to use in the second part for even bigger returns. With this sort of trend, the sky is the limit for the Hindi dubbed version of Kalki 2898 AD, and if the Monday holds above the Rs. 15 crore mark, it can very well even enter the Rs. 300 crore club.
