Kalki 2898 AD Box Office: Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer scores over Rs. 10 crores again, needs to stay stable

It was yet another double-digit day for Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) as Rs. 11.50 crores came on Wednesday. The film had brought in Rs. 13 crores on Tuesday, so that’s bit of a drop. That said, it’s reasonable and since there is massive moolah that has already been collected during its extended weekend, perhaps audiences are waiting to arrive in big numbers again primarily on the weekend.

That would be required as well since this one is an expensive film and at the very least it requires Rs. 200 crores in Hindi to make any sort of headway. It should reach there though since the first four days were so good that they almost did the job. However, the trending still needs to be good, and stability is the key. This means today it would need to stay in that double digit zone and the same holds true for tomorrow as well so that the film can take off on Saturday and Sunday.

The film has also achieved the milestone of going past the Rs. 150 crores mark and that too in a really quick time of just 7 days. Of course, last year number of Bollywood films had done that with ease. However, 2024 has been a different ball game and numbers are tough to come by. Moreover, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) is no Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2 or Animal, which means one has to make do with the best that comes and build on top of Rs. 153.15 crores that have been gathered so far.
