Screenwriter Sumit Arora, who has penned the dialogues of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming actioner Jawan, says that he had an unforgettable experience collaborating closely with the superstar for the film. Arora said that he was amazed by Khan’s dedication and involvement in the making of the film.
“It has been such an incredible experience to watch him on the sets and enact your lines,” Arora told Indianexpress.com. “He is so involved. When he is there, he is always thinking, trying to see if it is good, takes feedback, asks you if it is working. At 57, he is more agile than me. He moves like a tiger. I was ashamed of my own fitness level. I felt like working out immediately.”
Arora said that Khan’s dedication to his craft is what makes him the ‘Zinda Banda’ of the industry. “He is truly a Zinda Banda by his nature, the way he conducts himself, the way he treats other people. He is the Zinda Banda of the industry,” Arora said.
Jawan, which marks filmmaker Atlee’s debut in Hindi, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film is said to be an action-packed thriller and will see Khan in a double role. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 7, 2023.
