Kamal Haasan, who is gearing up for one of the most anticipated releases of next year Kalki 2928 AD, decided to share his best wishes to his Hey Ram co-star. Shah Rukh Khan is currently in Chennai for the audio launch of one of his biggest releases this year, Jawan. The multi-lingual action entertainer will be marking his collaboration with the South filmmaker Atlee, and will be releasing in multiple languages. During the star studded launch of the event, which was attended by many celebs from both the industries, Kamal, who couldn’t make it to the same, decided to send a video message.
In a video, which was featured during the audio launch event of Jawan, Kamal Haasan was seen extending his best wishes to his friend Shah Rukh Khan as well as the entire team. The South megastar turned politician said, “The film has brought together talents from Indian Cinema.” He also went on to praise his Hey Ram co-star adding, “In 30 years, he has become the symbol of love. In spite of all the tumultuous times, your smile lights up thousands. I want this film to succeed and you to succeed. The way you deal with everything with panache and dignity is inspiring.”

Jawan marks the Bollywood debut of South female superstar Nayanthara along with Vijay Sethupathi playing the antagonist. The film also stars Yogi Babu, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, among others whereas, Deepika Padukone will be seen in an important special appearance. Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is slated for release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The trailer launch of the same is expected to be held in Dubai on August 31.
