Janhvi Kapoor climbs Tirupati temple’s steps on her knees, watch

Actress Janhvi Kapoor recently embarked on a spiritual journey to the Tirumala Balaji temple in Tirupati to celebrate her birthday on March 6. Accompanied by her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya and close friend Orry (Orhan Awatramani), Kapoor documented the experience through Orry’s vlog.

The vlog offers a glimpse into the trio’s early morning ascent, which involved climbing over 3,000 steps to reach the temple. A particularly interesting detail captured is the customary practice of climbing the final 500 steps on one’s knees. The vlog shows Janhvi faithfully following this tradition, dressed in a simple pink salwar suit. Orry even attempts to climb on his knees, showcasing the physical challenge it presents.

This pilgrimage held special significance for the Dhadak actress, marking her 50th visit to the temple. Pahariya, on the other hand, mentioned it was his ninth time seeking blessings there. The vlog doesn’t just showcase the spiritual aspect of the trip. It also features lighter moments, including a celebration of Jnahvi’s birthday mid-flight as they returned to Mumbai on a private jet.

On the professional front, the 27-year-old has a busy slate of upcoming projects. These include Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, Ulajh, Devara, RC16, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
